Quote of the day
Go either very cheap or very expensive. It's the middle ground that is fashion nowhere.

Style dedication
I know many people have blogged about this article, but I have to give in and join the masses as I can't stop thinking about it.
Basically The New York Magazine ran an article about five creative types who wear only one colour. Always.
I can't decide what I think of the idea. I do think that they look terrific and a lot of the follow on posts I've seen about it have some great idea's on how to pull this off but I can't comprehend the dedication it would take to do it full time. I could easily wear all green one day, or all pink or any colour really. (Probably not white because I'm a grub but oh well) But I think it would put so many limits on what you can and can't wear.
Think of the heart break, you walk into a shop and see a dress that makes your heart stop, it's bright, it's vibrant, it makes you look like a star.... BUT.... It doesn't come in your colour. Too much pain for me.
I've always been this way with sticking to styles I would love to be "The girl in the purple dresses" or something and have such dedication to a style and be able to pull it off. My taste is too eclectic. As a teenager I spent about four years being the only Goth who managed to sneak pink into every outfit (often barbie brand from the kids section).
I don't look nearly as 'together' as these people but I do get t have alot of fun.
Slugs and snails and puppy dogs tails

That's what little boys are made of....
I certainly hope not seeing as I'm terrified of slugs and snails although I do have alot of love for puppy dogs tails.
Hurry up and get to the point Bec!!
Alright, Alright I'm sorry.
I'M HAVING A BOY!!!!
I'm so excited. I was really hoping for a boy. Of course the cliche is true and I would have been happy with whatever as long as it's healthy but let's be honest here boys are so much more fun.
The only downside to having a boy is the clothes. Baby girls have such cuter clothes and an amazingly huge range. Boy's clothes are pretty boring. If anyone knows of any great shops (that are in Australia or deliver to) please let me know.

How come noone told me crocs made such cute shoes.

My fashion gene is defect

Before becoming pregnant dressing up was one of my favourite things to do.
Lately nothing inspires me, when I go shopping I can't find anything I like (which is great financially) and none of the clothes in my wardrobe seem quite right.
I'm not quite at the stage where I need maternity clothes yet but I'm feeling a bit fat and bloated so my clothes don't sit quite right.
It's only to weeks to go until my birthday and I want to find something fun and glamorous to wear but I am an idea free zone.
Throw me ideas people.
